This lesson covers how ReFresh handles compliance across multiple entities or business units.
What you'll cover:
The group hierarchy. How groups in Settings nest: a top-level group like a region, sub-groups like locations, and further sub-groups like departments or sites, with each group able to hold its own employees, incidents, controls, and frameworks.
Classification. The Classification section on a group's own Settings tab, where you mark a group as a Shared Workspace (for groups that operate across other parts of the business) or a Legal Entity (for groups that are their own registered company and need separate framework activation).
Key takeaways:
The group hierarchy mirrors how your organisation is actually structured, so compliance can sit at the region, location, or site level rather than one undifferentiated pool.
Each group carries its own employees, incidents, controls, and frameworks, which keeps multi-entity compliance separated where it needs to be.
Classification is the lever for that separation: Shared Workspace for groups spanning the business, Legal Entity for registered companies that need their own framework activation.
